steampunk scratchbuilt goggles

I've had a goggle obsession for a loooong time and wanted an excuse to make a pair; finally decided I didn't really need one, or at least that having a gun was excuse enough.

I did not use existing goggles/parts as a base for these. Glass lenses; rims and rivets/fittings are brass (and some nickel). Nosebridge is leather cord and wire. The straps/side pieces were made with veg-tan leather, design tooled in, and dyed with an antique finish. (I still have a lot to learn about leatherworking . . .) There is actually a two-tone metallic finish on the leather but it doesn't really show in photos (you can sort of see flecks). I have another piece I wanted to add over the top to flip down over the lenses, but I couldn't figure out the attachment so I guess that's for version 2.0 . . .
