Description

My friend cosplaying as Ky Kiske from the fighting game Guilty Gear. What does the hero do when the battle is over? He seems very sad and lonely in his victory . . .

The black-and-white coloring compliments the bland, insipid nature of loneliness.

The way you have pulled back a little--in other words, not doing a close-up--shows the isolation in that he is surrounded by no people, animals, or items that might otherwise alleviate, if not briefly, the pain of that loneliness.

The steps are sharply sculpted and eloquent, hinting at the grandure of the kingdom or municipality that the hero has helped in saving. The grandure of the setting is in sharp contrast to his small, more vulnerable form, reminding him of what he does not have, and reminding him of the sacrifices he must make for what he does, ultimately leaving him bereft of the relationships and ties afforded by those that do not normally put themselves in danger on a daily basis.

His shabby way of sitting hints at his exhaustion, as he rests his cumbersom weapon at his shoulder. With the armor, it makes it look as though he is resting from a very recent battle as his body sags and his head is lowered. All of this gives us a feeling for gargantuan troubles that weigh upon him and that he must bear by himself.

I sometimes picture myself in this exact mental state (though, obviously, not the same setting or character) and it cool to see the idea I was looking for in this search of those key words so succintly rendered. Well done :salute:
