Fleming the Monster by brokensymphony Fleming the Monster by brokensymphony
Fleming the Monster, intended for sale at Megacon but I didn't finish him because I didn't want to part with him :X This particular paint on the eyes looks fabulous in person, a sort of peacock blue-green metallic shift. He's named for Alexander Fleming, who discovered penicillin. /historylesson His sibling Morris the Monster sold at the con and I was too dumb to take a picture first. There will be more of these smaller, more manageable monsters, because I get asked a lot about my bigger ones - which aren't super practical for sale.

His arms may look a bit off because they weren't properly attached when I took the pic. Also might note that while (real) flannel like for shirts, as opposed to the stuff you get for baby bedding, is a bit ornery about being used as a plushing fabric. Anything with a loose weave you have to be very careful with and it usually doesn't live up to my quality standards. But I'm too lazy to interline it, which is what you should really do if it gives you lip.

Size: ~8" tall
Materials: Faux fur, velour knit, flannel, acrylic felt, wire, handpainted safety eyes
